The Difference Is You

What will you do to make a difference?

How can you have an impact?

I think the challenge for most people when it comes to doing or creating something big is simply trying to imagine themselves having any significant impact on the world when they are just one single person and can only do one small thing at a time.

In our fast food culture, where we want instant results and are striving to meet the what have you done for me lately expectations, it’s real easy to forget that even the most important and outstanding accomplishments all started with only one small bit of inspired action.

The greatest journey still begins with the first step.

You can make a difference!  And not only in your life, but also in the lives of those around you.  You can also be the catalyst for change and growth in your neighborhood, your community, your state, your country, your world or your universe.  The possibilities are endless.  Extraordinary accomplishments are inevitably the result of ordinary people who took action, believed in their purpose and never surrendered until the goal was achieved.

Getting started is sometimes the hardest part of anything, but it is also the most important part.  And the key to getting started is realizing that the only time anything can be done is in the present.  You have to seize the moment and take advantage of your opportunity to begin.  Then, start.

Definitely dream BIG, but start small if you need to.  Think about the things you can do today that will put you on the path to achieving that something you have always wanted to do.

Believe in yourself and your ability to have lasting impact.  You are a unique person and you’re also powerful.  Your ideas are valuable.  Turn those ideas into reality.  Remember, your thoughts are real things and they can start to become part of your physical world as you begin to take inspired action.

Can you do amazing things and make a difference? Yes you can!

Whether you will or not is entirely up to you.
