Okay, now the pressure is definitely on. I entered the 30 Blogs in 30 Days Challenge that my friend Connie Green threw out there, and now it’s coming down to the wire.
Sure, I got in a little late…my first post for the Challenge, Lace ‘Em Up, was officially up and running on December 11th, and I only have until Thursday January 7th to be done…but that is not going to stop me from completing the task! Not only am I going to finish this challenge, but I am going to finish strong!
Now, you might think that this is just a quick and easy way to get a blog on the board, and that the content might suffer a little since at this point I’m really just trying to hit a number.
(You may be right…)
But, I also want to make sure that every post on the site has a certain level of quality, and that it brings something to the table for you, the reader.
The basic rules of the 30 Day Challenge stated that each eligible post must contain at least 100 words, not be x-rated, that the contest would be done on January 7th and that an individual could post multiple times per day.
So, right now I am at approximately 199 words…there has been nothing nasty or explicit here, it would be the 2nd post of the day, and it is prior to January 7th. So I’m good, right?
Well, before I hit “publish” let me at least leave you with a few thought provoking quotes or something…
“There is nothing so fatal to character as half finished tasks” – David Lloyd George
“There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.” – Louis L’Amour
“To finish the moment, to find the journey’s end in every step of the road, to live the greatest number of good hours, is wisdom” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
See you in post #26…
