Your time is a lot like your money. You can spend it or you can invest it. It’s not something you can really afford to throw away, and it doesn’t do you any good sitting around hoping you have enough of it later when you need it. You either use it wisely or you end up with nothing to show for it.
So here’s some good advice for you from your self-improvement broker…
Invest an hour of your time with someone you love.
It could be your spouse, your son or daughter, your brother or sister, your mom or dad, your grandma or grandpa, or one of your really good friends. Take the time to do it, and then spend the moments having as much fun as possible. Reminisce about the wonderful things you’ve experienced. Laugh out loud. Enjoy each other’s presence.
It’s one of the great gifts of life that literally keeps giving. It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, what the circumstances are around you, or what the weather’s like, it’s one of the most solid and worthwhile investments you’ll ever make. And I suggest you make it as often as you can. After all, there are no tomorrows promised to any of us.
Do it today. Do it every day if you can. I guarantee that you’ll never regret it.
