Go Time

If any of you have ever tried visualization as a sole source for accomplishment, then you realize by itself it really doesn’t work.  The same can be said for repeating affirmations or making sure you hold positive thoughts.  These are all great, and they are definitely a big part of the process.  But your mind cannot get you where you want to be in your life unless you engage some other parts of your body.

Let me say it this way; if all you do is sit around and visualize, even when your image is vivid, and loaded with emotion, if you don’t react to the inspiration you receive as a result of holding that image in your mind, then you will not find your way to the end of the rainbow and will never fully experience the wonderful life that you know you deserve.

Why?  Because in order to achieve, you have to act.  You have to DO something.

Not just anything though, because the act of doing something without any direction ot guidance is just busy work.  Remember the Japanese proverb:

“Vision without action is a daydream.  Action without vision is a nightmare”

You have to have the vision…but then you have to act.

This is the part where most people check out.  Most people are so in love with the idea of finding the magic formula which will allow them to experience abundance and be truly happy and find peace and have freedom… that when they hear they have to get up off of their zen and go do something, they quit.

Here’s the best advice I could ever give you:  DON’T QUIT!

Doing something, as boring and as tedious as it may sound, is the final piece of the puzzle.  The one that will lead you to your perfect life.

Look, you’ve clearly defined what it is you want to achieve, you know the kind of life that you want to have.  You know that you deserve it.  You realize that you are totally worthy.  It excites you to think of how much you can do with your life once you have the freedom and opportunity to do so.  You have spent time each day seeing the end result in your mind, giving the vision emotion and truly feeling yourself living the dream.  So why in the heck would you want to stop now?  Because you have to take action?

Action is the best part!  It’s the thrill of the ride…the magic of the journey…it IS your life!

Let’s see if I can make it sound a bit more attractive to you.

The kind of action that you are going to be taking is the inspired kind.  It’ the kind of stuff that you do when you believe that your dream is possible, and you are not willing to accept limitation, and you are following your heart and committed to your passion.  It doesn’t feel like work!

Inspired action comes from inside you.  It is what your gut tells you to do.  It is your intuition.

How about this question…do you think that it’s some sort of cosmic accident or big joke from God that we are all equipped with imaginations, the ability to visualize, emotions, passion, and intuition?  It’s not a joke!  It’s not an accident!  It’s not even a coincidence!  All of those things are for a purpose, and the purpose is for you to live your life to the fullest and experience abundance in every area of your existence.   Your purpose is to be fulfilled spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, and on down the line.

Those feelings that you have are REAL.  Trust them.

You are in a position where you are ready to embark upon greatness.  All of the realization and visualization, and focus, and belief in yourself is just like starting the engine of the car.  Now all you have to do is put it in Drive and stay on the road.  And you can do that!  Your innate GPS system will guide you.  You will know where to turn and you will know when to exit for fuel.  Just stay the course and believe in yourself.

The result of your inspired action will be your destiny.

Throw your fears aside, refuse to accept limitation and follow your heart.  You have already seen and felt what it is like to achieve your dream, now all you have to do is go get it.

Are you still sitting there?

When I was growing up, the people in the religious community I was around always said, “God can’t steer a parked car.” That has always stuck with me.

    Great post, as usual. Thanks.
