Geoff - thanks for the comment...sounds like a really cool performance..the burger sounds very nice, too! I believe that even looking at our food with new perspective makes us more thankful.

Sheila - it's easy to get distracted, but taking the time to observe is always worth it. Nature is spectacular. We saw a big hawk perched on a lamp post coming home for the baseball game yesterday.

Sometimes life gets a little hectic and I tend to forget to take the time for living.

I am fortunate to live in a very beautiful place that gives me little reminders. In fact just yesterday I saw a Golden Eagle just 10ft off the side of the road. He was eating a dead deer. I drove home and got my husband and we went back to watch this marvelous bird. Ahhh life.

Thanks Mike

Thanks, Mike! For me, today it is writing and will be attending a new, musical production of A Christmas Carol done with puppets and masked performers. Oh, and that hamburger I had for lunch - fat and juicy, crispy outside and red inside, smothered in ketchup. Tomorrow it will be working with my writing partner.

I am grateful for the moments in my life, but it is nice to stop and notice them in a new way. Thanks for reminding me.
